Canada Day

Hey everyone

We celebrated Canada Day at the ambassador's home in the rich neighborhood of Ouagadougou. His big home and yard (grass and pool with canadian balloons) were filled with Canadiens (okay everybody almost was from Qc, the speech was in French and everybody spoke French!). We had great service (wine, sparkling wine, etc) and hors d'oeuvres as well as desserts and maple sirup crêpes!!! Sheeeesh it was delicious. We had a chance to speak to a lot of students from Laval in dentistry, pharmacy and medecine (Sabrina and Genevieve and the picture below) who are here to do an internship similar to mine :)

Oh yeah, I also got interviewed by the RTB (Radio Television Burkina Faso)to speak about my stay so far here and I passed on national television yesterday evening!! lol We were watching and we all saw my little interview haha!

Anyways, it was a great evening but Caro and Vanessa probably ate something that was soo good because they both were really sick the next day (probably intoxication alimentaire).....
